Does Acupuncture hurt?
Unlike needles used to give injections, the filaments used for treatments are extremely fine, about the size of a cats whisker.
Most people are surprized that they feel little or no pain. Treatments are very relaxing, clients often sleep thru them.
How much does it cost?
That depends on insurance coverage, many plans cover acupuncture. (see insurance info under “about the clinic”) If you don’t have coverage treatments are usually $75 for the inital treatment and $55 for subsequent treatments.
How Quickly will I respond?
Everyone is different. Acute problems such as a sore thoat may be resolved in a single session. With chronic problems we are accustomed to seeing significant results within 4-6 treatments. The total number of treatments depends on:
1.The severity of the condition
2.How long the condition has existed
3.The overall state of health, energy and motivation of the patient
Do you use disposable needles?
Yes, all needles are presterilized, individually packaged and disposable.
